By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day of working overtime. An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"
And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her?
She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart-and she will do everything with only two hands."
The angel was astounded at the requirements. "Only two hands!? No way! And that's just on the standard model? That's too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."
"But I won't," the Lord protested. "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can work 18 hour days."
The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But you have made her so soft, Lord."
"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."
"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.
The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate."
The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."
"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected, "that's a tear!"
"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.
The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride."
The angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing."
And she is!
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and la ugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH....

went "yum cha" @ chinatown to have an advance Birthday gathering for eLaInE on Sat... "Welcome to my world yah!!!" 24th ald... LOLx! supposed to meet @ 12pm... but me as usual was late... somemore KeXiN & I don't knw the way so took sometime to look ard... finally reached at 1pm... we'll all v.hungry by then... so stuff ourselves with food once we sat down... so didn't managed to take out my "wonder baby S700i" to take any pix... kekeke =P anyway, no1 was keen in taking pix tt day... so no pix with them for posting...
after lunch, we went to IT show in Suntec... Cos eLaIne wanted to get a bluetooth headset... & me wanting to see if there's any gd deals or packages for labtops... Damn alot ppl sia... so we gotta squeezed our way thro' the crowds... anyway, i didn't really get to even open my mouth to ask anythg at any booth... cos its all packed with ppl... & i've to rush for my dental appt in Parkway Parade when i haven't even finish squeeze my way thro' one-third of the hall... suppose to go with DaR on Sun but cos of the crowd we decided to forgo it even though many say last day will get better offers as they will try to clear off their stocks... XiN who has no intention on getting anything before hand actually bought a digital camera... kekeke =P tink is Panasonic Limux if I r'ber correctly... comes with extra batt & 512MB memory card... not too bad lah... r'ber then i bought mine with nothing additional given... gotta buy my own 128MB SD card & now my only batt runs low after 2hrs i fully charged it...
Abt my dental... Hiaks...... guess i've to wear it for the rest of my LIFE le lah... the dentist is like forever changing what he says... tot it's suppose to be the last 2times for my visit... but tis time he told me to cancel all my future appt at Alexandra Hospital & visit his own clinic @ Parkway Parade in the FUTURE... FUTURE means it's not gonna be taken down any sooner yet... *sob sob* & i'll get tis from the ppl ard me... "tt's the price to pay for being hiao!" #$%^&*#$%^

Placed my "da bian" aka shitty T630 fone on yahoo auction to sell... was hoping to get a better price than trading it to the fone shop... after 207 pageviews, 11 times added to watchlist & 6 bidders (which one is my DaR, who I ask him to place a bid so i can sell at a higher price... LOLx!), the auction closed at S$232.50... totally clueless how on earth tis person get to bid at an increment of $2.50 higher than the next highest bidder when i set the minimum bid increment at $5.00... well anyway, he's the highest bidder so he won... meet him at Bugis last Friday for the trade... Cash & Carry... so after deducting $232.50 for selling the old fone, & another $300 from the angbaos, i actually only fork out $167.50 for my S700i fone... juz wanna make myself feel better lah... kekeke =P
took train to Kallang, DaR's office after the trade to meet for dinner... i was pretty hungry then... so beg DaR to bring me Cafe Cartel... after acting pity for sometime, DaR give in... my DaR is like the most "SuaKu" Uncle ard... guess other than home, office, clubbing & movies, my DaR has limited explore in other thgs... he can start telling u all clubs, pubs, place to chill out & saying ppl no life if only wrk hard no play, watever, blah blah blah... but i tell u, tt's his 1st time to Cafe Cartel... LOLx!

greedy me ordered Texas Rodeo Ribs... v.big portion sia...
but no prob yah... with the help of DaR, the main dish is cleared neh...
Yummy yummy... the ribs is real gd... soft & tender...
u can easily strip the meat from the bones...
We had a great time... cos DaR told me we shld go Cafe Cartel more often yah... hahaha =P affordable, nice ambience & gd food... wat more can u ask for?!
As I was juz toking abt clubbing... DaR was msging Sean Lee, his all-time favourite clubbing kaki thro'out dinner... trying to drop hint now & then to "test water" see if he can go out with him... kekeke =P Since DaR has turned into a gd boy & cut down alot on clubbing ald, so i tot it was ok to let him go party despite he needa wrk the nx day... but guess wat, i nber get to hear from him after he msg me at 2am saying he'll be going back SOON... HOW SOON?! i was told he had a hangover & only got home @ 4am... *BLACKLISTED* see wat happen the nx time he tell me abt clubbing again!!! LOLx!

Hard-boiled eggs... I boiled 10, the other "sister", Shufen another 10...
Total of 20eggs... bridegroom & 2 "brothers" to finish all...
Tekan #2 known as "SUAN TIAN KU LA" (sour, sweet, bitter & hot)
SUAN = pure lemon juice
I squeezed it till my hand is still full of the sour sour smell
after "N"th time i washed them...
TIAN = concentrated can fruits syrup
I get to eat all the lychees... kekeke =P
KU & LA are prepared Shufen...
KU = 8 packets of "ku gua" teabags made into a single cup...
LA = WASABI biscuits!

hiaks but guess wat, all our efforts are ruined by this "AUNTIE" who they claimed is Sandy's cousin... 20eggs, they only ate 4... SUAN TIAN KU LA only one sip & one piece each... Suppose to ask the bridegroom sing oso wasn't given a chance to... cos tt AUNTIE was so-called "trying to help"... Please see attached...

Shufen & I rejected the 1st ang bao the bridegroom offered... Only $68... then AGAIN, AUNTIE interupted... "come i help u, add another 80cents! i want all 10cents coins eh!" (-_-") 80CENTS?! i can't believe it... & they happened to have all the 10cents ready... & so they opened e door...
ARGH... y is tis AUNTIE here when only Shufen & I are the "sisters"... she's married, ang bao oso no her share, so Kapoh for wat... XYZ... on our way home, the brothers told us actually the bridegroom have prepared another bigger ang bao... but the AUNTIE agreed on the 80CENTS thg... & the bridegroom was like grining inside when happily added in the 80CENTS... i'm angry not becos for the $$$, but for the effort we put in... & lost the bargain session to the bridegroom's gang...
