but no prob yah... with the help of DaR, the main dish is cleared neh...
Yummy yummy... the ribs is real gd... soft & tender...
u can easily strip the meat from the bones...

We had a great time... cos DaR told me we shld go Cafe Cartel more often yah... hahaha =P affordable, nice ambience & gd food... wat more can u ask for?!

As I was juz toking abt clubbing... DaR was msging Sean Lee, his all-time favourite clubbing kaki thro'out dinner... trying to drop hint now & then to "test water" see if he can go out with him... kekeke =P Since DaR has turned into a gd boy & cut down alot on clubbing ald, so i tot it was ok to let him go party despite he needa wrk the nx day... but guess wat, i nber get to hear from him after he msg me at 2am saying he'll be going back SOON... HOW SOON?! i was told he had a hangover & only got home @ 4am... *BLACKLISTED* see wat happen the nx time he tell me abt clubbing again!!! LOLx!

Sandy's Wedding

Jason & me... Brother & Sister for the wedding couple...
both of us & Sandy were the only 3 from our pri who went to Kuo Chuan Presb...

Preparations for the important aka MUST HAVE tekan session

Tekan #1
Hard-boiled eggs... I boiled 10, the other "sister", Shufen another 10...
Total of 20eggs... bridegroom & 2 "brothers" to finish all...

Tekan #2 known as "SUAN TIAN KU LA" (sour, sweet, bitter & hot)

SUAN = pure lemon juice
I squeezed it till my hand is still full of the sour sour smell
after "N"th time i washed them...


TIAN = concentrated can fruits syrup
I get to eat all the lychees... kekeke =P

KU & LA are prepared Shufen...
KU = 8 packets of "ku gua" teabags made into a single cup...
LA = WASABI biscuits!
don't you tink all looks so APPETIZING!!!

hiaks but guess wat, all our efforts are ruined by this "AUNTIE" who they claimed is Sandy's cousin... 20eggs, they only ate 4... SUAN TIAN KU LA only one sip & one piece each... Suppose to ask the bridegroom sing oso wasn't given a chance to... cos tt AUNTIE was so-called "trying to help"... Please see attached...

Shufen & I rejected the 1st ang bao the bridegroom offered... Only $68... then AGAIN, AUNTIE interupted... "come i help u, add another 80cents! i want all 10cents coins eh!" (-_-") 80CENTS?! i can't believe it... & they happened to have all the 10cents ready... & so they opened e door...

ARGH... y is tis AUNTIE here when only Shufen & I are the "sisters"... she's married, ang bao oso no her share, so Kapoh for wat... XYZ... on our way home, the brothers told us actually the bridegroom have prepared another bigger ang bao... but the AUNTIE agreed on the 80CENTS thg... & the bridegroom was like grining inside when happily added in the 80CENTS... i'm angry not becos for the $$$, but for the effort we put in... & lost the bargain session to the bridegroom's gang...

After going to their new flat, we arrived at the groom's condo in hougang for the tea ceremony... wah! the relatives in queue are like nber ending... one after another... the living room was so packed... they must have earned big time on the ang baos... kekeke =P After the tea ceremony, we finally get sometime for ourselves to take fotos with Sandy when she needs to change to go back her place for another round of tea ceremony...
