~iT's tT tImE aGaiN~

long time since i last blogged... haven't really got the time neh... busy finishing up my programming & report on the Microprocessor project... then meeting deadline for Electromagnetics assignment... busy at wrk cos i took 2 full wks leaves for my exam preparation starting from today... then as usual my bosses are famous for stuffing me with wrk on the last day of my wrk wk... & poor me have to get it done b4 i can concentrate on my revision... so report to wrk on Sat too when i was only paid to wrk 5days a wk... damn...

Seriously started on my revision yesterday... wrked on every tutorial qns to make sure that i thoroughly understand wat the *toot*(censored) i'm studying... Struggled till 7am tis morning give DaR morning call for wrk then went to bed... didn't really catch a gd sleep cos some renovation is going on somewhere ard... got "drilled" up at 11am... Supposed to meet Eric & Mel to study in sch now... but its pouring outside sia... sure get drenched from inside out so i better juz stick ard the house 1st... probably decide if to go or not when the weather looks more friendly... pretty gd weather to juz lazed ard yah... how nice it'll be to take a nap on such a cooling afternoon... *(-_-") wat's on ur mind Summer!!!* gonna have 3 papers on the same wk... MicroP on nx Tues, Control & System on Wed & last paper Electromagnetics on Fri... siao liao lah... better dont even tink abt the nap sia...

e ONE thg tt keeps me motivated & continue on preservering is DaR gonna bring me on our 2nd trip after my exams... He's now coordinating with Nick doing all the booking & planning neh... Tis time we going BANGKOK!!! So looking 4ward sia... Nick's coming along with us yah... he's been there a few times & I'm sure it's gonna be real fun having him ard on tis trip... He's one funny chap... Juz hearing him speak Chinese & Hokkien makes me laugh till stomach pain... LOLx! & he's DaR another all-time-fav clubbing kakis... We gonna RocK'N'RoLL Bangkok NiteSpots 2gether yah... Nick says I can do my shopping spree there... full of ladies' fav... but hopefully i can limit myself from overspending... Told DaR we each change S$500... cos in case i run out of cash, i can use his... Ooppss... kekeke =P

Ok lah, till then... I've to stay focused on my exams... GAMBATTE GAMBATTE GAMBATTE!!!

~LifE's fRaGiLe~

its Monday again... bluey bluey Monday... havent had time to do anythg & enough rest over the wkend... was at my "San Bo's" (dad's 3rd elder bro) wake since 8am in the morning & only reached home at 11.30pm on Sat... he passed away on Wed... i was busy with wrk & sch lately tt i havent get the chance to go visit him... so the last thg i could do was to be at the wake to pay my last respect...

this oso give us a chance to see all the relatives tt we don't get to meet often... Ever since Mum sold off her car 3-4yrs back, we dont visit every single relatives during the CNY, like wat we used to do since young as my dad was the youngest in the family... it was a traditional thg... al'tot we aren't real closed to them as compare to my Mum's side...

Sun was the last day of the funeral... after the ritual we set off to the Mandai Columbarium... the place was very huge & advance... air-conditioned service hall & functions mostly are computerised... it was real sad to see the cremation... i can't stand scene like tt... my tears start gushing out uncontrollably... reminds me of the time my grandfather & dad passed away... & oso how fragile Life is...

after the cremation, we proceed to "Ju Shi Ling" @ River Valley, where they place the tablet... i pay a respect to DaR's granny too... time flies, it's been nearly a yr le... after the ritual, we proceed to have lunch... "Ju Shi Ling" have volunteers to cook free vegeterian food everyday... & allow any1 to eat...

~mY 1St tRiP WiTh mY DaR~

i can't believe it's Friday AGAIN... time seems to pass TOO quickly tis days... i'm surprised myself for saying tis... hmm, so much thgs had happen & i've no time to blog abt every single one... i'm tired & have endless wrk to do... probably i've gotta come back wrk 2mr... but provided i'm determined enough to get outta bed... keke =P

DaR & I had a HUGE fight wks back... after a yr plus together, we still couldn't see eye-to-eye in certain thgs... which is common in every r'ship... & we always end up quarrelling on the same topic again & AGAIN & having cold war for days after tt... so tis time was no diff... got us both very upset & tired abt it... DaR will always be the one who'll give in 1st & call/sms me... he says cos he's a gentlemen... ya rite?! if so, he shld give in to me rite in the beginning & save the quarrel part... Well, i still wasn't satisfied with thgs... so i grounded him for a month... which he willingly agreed to... (NOTE: no guns pointed at him eh... the important key word here is WILLINGLY!) so his schedule for the month is home, wrk & wrk, home... LOLx!

but DaR was real sweet despite i grounded him... he actually went to source for hotel & transport to bring me on a short trip to Penang over the Good Friday's wkend... it was kinda last min so all the thurs transportation were fully booked... so we finally booked a coach on Fri at 11pm... tis means we gotta take Mon off for tis 3days 2nites trip... but luckily my bosses are kind enough to let me take a day off last min... the journey was TEN HOURS!!! i'm normally a light-sleeper so couldn't really fall asleep on the jerking coach... & every 2hrs, they stopped for a break... which was kinda disturbing when i was so so so close to dozed off... keke =P but DaR, being his usual typical nite life person didn't even catch a wink thro'out... he say he was looking at the scenery when its like pitch-black outside at 3am... pengz sia... ya, tt's my ah gong DaR... no doubt kz... LOLx!

we met tis Mr Nice Guy (which i forgotten his name =P) on the same coach as us when he approaches DaR to borrow his lighter for a smoke at our 1st stop... & they happen to hit off pretty well... & became kakis at every stopping pt... he's a malaysian who lives in Singapore for 10yrs ald & only go back Kedak once a yr for "Qing Ming"... He meeting his cousin who wrked in Penang in the afternoon & they'll drive back to Kedak together...

We reached Penang Komtar bus terminal, Georgetown at 9am sharp... "zhun zhun" 10hrs... no plus no minus... their planning damn steady sia... keke =P As we can only check-in our hotel at 12pm... so we joined Mr Nice Guy for breakfast at those old shophouses...

the kway tiao soup was delicious... not very big bowl like in Singapore, so was juz the rite amt for me as breakfast... the po piah was oso different... they have tis gravy over it & the chilli are put on top instead of wrapped inside like Singapore... if i r'bered correctly, the kway tiao is like 1.20ringgit per bowl & po piah is 1ringgit each... cheap leh...

Actually the thgs there are much cheaper compared to JB... they even have tis BIG shops in the shopping malls openly selling pirated cd, vcd & dvd... & all looked so real... we didn't grab any al'tot i was real tempted... cos I very timid de... & my DaR was worst... LOLx! we shopped till we met up with Mr Nice Guy's cousin & went lunch together...

This was the best & the only food i missed when i come home... the different was they didn't used the black sweet sauce like in Singapore but it was still v.tasty despite it looks quite oily from the pic... hehehe =P

After lunch, Mr Nice Guy & cousin drove us to another shopping mall for us to continue our shopping & is oso nearer to our hotel... it juz makes e trip so much better when you get to meet nice ppl at a foreign country yah...
