~mY 1St tRiP WiTh mY DaR~

i can't believe it's Friday AGAIN... time seems to pass TOO quickly tis days... i'm surprised myself for saying tis... hmm, so much thgs had happen & i've no time to blog abt every single one... i'm tired & have endless wrk to do... probably i've gotta come back wrk 2mr... but provided i'm determined enough to get outta bed... keke =P

DaR & I had a HUGE fight wks back... after a yr plus together, we still couldn't see eye-to-eye in certain thgs... which is common in every r'ship... & we always end up quarrelling on the same topic again & AGAIN & having cold war for days after tt... so tis time was no diff... got us both very upset & tired abt it... DaR will always be the one who'll give in 1st & call/sms me... he says cos he's a gentlemen... ya rite?! if so, he shld give in to me rite in the beginning & save the quarrel part... Well, i still wasn't satisfied with thgs... so i grounded him for a month... which he willingly agreed to... (NOTE: no guns pointed at him eh... the important key word here is WILLINGLY!) so his schedule for the month is home, wrk & wrk, home... LOLx!

but DaR was real sweet despite i grounded him... he actually went to source for hotel & transport to bring me on a short trip to Penang over the Good Friday's wkend... it was kinda last min so all the thurs transportation were fully booked... so we finally booked a coach on Fri at 11pm... tis means we gotta take Mon off for tis 3days 2nites trip... but luckily my bosses are kind enough to let me take a day off last min... the journey was TEN HOURS!!! i'm normally a light-sleeper so couldn't really fall asleep on the jerking coach... & every 2hrs, they stopped for a break... which was kinda disturbing when i was so so so close to dozed off... keke =P but DaR, being his usual typical nite life person didn't even catch a wink thro'out... he say he was looking at the scenery when its like pitch-black outside at 3am... pengz sia... ya, tt's my ah gong DaR... no doubt kz... LOLx!

we met tis Mr Nice Guy (which i forgotten his name =P) on the same coach as us when he approaches DaR to borrow his lighter for a smoke at our 1st stop... & they happen to hit off pretty well... & became kakis at every stopping pt... he's a malaysian who lives in Singapore for 10yrs ald & only go back Kedak once a yr for "Qing Ming"... He meeting his cousin who wrked in Penang in the afternoon & they'll drive back to Kedak together...

We reached Penang Komtar bus terminal, Georgetown at 9am sharp... "zhun zhun" 10hrs... no plus no minus... their planning damn steady sia... keke =P As we can only check-in our hotel at 12pm... so we joined Mr Nice Guy for breakfast at those old shophouses...

the kway tiao soup was delicious... not very big bowl like in Singapore, so was juz the rite amt for me as breakfast... the po piah was oso different... they have tis gravy over it & the chilli are put on top instead of wrapped inside like Singapore... if i r'bered correctly, the kway tiao is like 1.20ringgit per bowl & po piah is 1ringgit each... cheap leh...

Actually the thgs there are much cheaper compared to JB... they even have tis BIG shops in the shopping malls openly selling pirated cd, vcd & dvd... & all looked so real... we didn't grab any al'tot i was real tempted... cos I very timid de... & my DaR was worst... LOLx! we shopped till we met up with Mr Nice Guy's cousin & went lunch together...

This was the best & the only food i missed when i come home... the different was they didn't used the black sweet sauce like in Singapore but it was still v.tasty despite it looks quite oily from the pic... hehehe =P

After lunch, Mr Nice Guy & cousin drove us to another shopping mall for us to continue our shopping & is oso nearer to our hotel... it juz makes e trip so much better when you get to meet nice ppl at a foreign country yah...
